Stunning antique Austrian TB (Turriet & Bardach) belt buckle, featuring gilded paste stones. TB exhibited at the World's Fair in Paris in 1900 and at the first international exhibition of modern art in Turin in 1902. Dates back to the early 20th century. Did not acid test for higher grade silver, likely a lower grade silver or mixed metal. Measures 3 inches x 3 inches max width and weighs 53 grams. Considering its age, the pin is in good antique condition. Gilding shows wear/loss and heavy age patina. Shows 2 missing stones, and some surface wear/scratches on the central stone. As vintage items are previously loved/used, please expect minor wear such as surface wear/dents/dings, and metal discoloration.
