Bertha Gachupin, born 'Thunder Flower' in 1954, is a respected artist from the Zia and Corn Clans, continuing a family legacy of hand-coiled pottery inspired by her grandmother, Persingula Gachupin. Her lineage includes notable potters Marie Romero, Lenora Fragua, Maxine Toya, and Laura Gachupin.
