Bust of a smiling older woman, created in the cartapesta style from Lecce, Italy by Antonio Malecore. The sculpture is on a wooden pedestal with the artist's name and signature, dated 2000. Some rust on the name plaque, but no damage to the sculpture. Approximately 11 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. Weighs approximately 2.5 lbs. Antonio Malecore is one of the last artists working with Cartapesta in Lecce, Puglia, Italy.
