Circa 1898-1950<br>Bronze<br>Rare Collectible<br>History: <br>1950 Carl Hagenauer founded the Hagenauer Werkstatte in the year 1898. They manufactured Vienna bronze sculptures, but later in the time of Art Nouveau with the influence of the Wiener Werkestatte/Werkstaette they created new and modern design sculptures. Later, from 1920 until 1930, his sons Franz and Karl made significant changes that were very important, as the designs got very clear and radically reduced form and shape. Most of the Hagenauer design pieces are marked Werkestatte Hagenauer Wien. Made in Austria, WHW in the circle and Handmade. This is an original Karl Hagenauer Bronze 1920-1930' Statue of Jesus. It stands 5 inches, (13ccm high and 98 mm wide). The markings on the bottom are "Made in Austria", "Handmade", "Hagenauer Wien" "WHW in the circle" (pictured)
