In excellent shape, original frame, and lead frame tabs/hardware. Faded pencil writing on the back. Features a cowboy genre scene typical of Tex Moore's work.

John Marcellus "Tex" Moore (1865-1948) was a painter of cowboy scenes and landscapes, working near Yellowstone National Park for 50 years. Encouraged by Frederic Remington, Moore captured scenes of Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado. He was a Texas Ranger and Indian Scout, painting the Grand Canyon for the Santa Fe Railroad.
