This is the cruise book or year log for the USS New Jersey, Battleship 62 for the 1968-1969 deployment. The ship went to Hawaii, the Philippines, and then Vietnam. The book is full of candid photographs, mostly black and white, but a few pages of color. The ship's company is pictured and identified. This is a hardcover book measuring about 12" by 9.5", with 255 pages. This book is tightly bound and intact, with thick, uncreased and unmarked pages. There is a mild spine slant, some cover marks and scratches (particularly on the back--see photo), and the gilt has mostly worn off the cover lettering.
