Vintage Empoli Italian Art Glass Pedestal Pitcher – 11.5” tall, teal/blue-green, hand-blown with applied handle and applied pedestal foot. Mid-century modern, c. 1960s–70s<br><br>This pitcher is a fine example of mid-century Empoli art glass from Tuscany, Italy, dating to the 1960s–70s. Hand-blown in a striking teal/blue-green hue, it features an applied pedestal foot (covering the pontil scar) and a pulled handle, classic hallmarks of Empoli production. These pieces were widely exported to the U.S. and Europe, sold through department stores and design shops during the peak of the mid-century modern era. While sometimes mistaken for Blenko, the pedestal form and construction details confirm its Italian origin.
