Vintage hand carved wood tray with eagle and Americana motifs. From around the 1930s or 40s. Shield shape. Measures 24 1/4" L x 16" H x 7/8" thick. The eagle holds an American flag and an olive branch. The sides have a flower and leaf motif. Some staining used for effect. Has some damage, including an old repair to a crack, a couple of dings and a larger chip. Patina consistent with age.
