Vintage- Mid 80s Louis Vuitton Mens Bi-fold Wallet

I am bringing these back to life on behalf of of a friend as they were in prior basically extinct condition. I believe this one is 1987 but I can’t be sure due to inconsistencies and how they did the date codes back then. <br><br>See all pictures. There are notable flaws. It has been burnished and restored as best it can. A cobbler would’ve laughed, but I pulled her together through various sanding blocks, beeswax, burnishing tool, cork roller, and wood clamp. her patina will re-emerge quickly. I’ve done things like this with cheap wallets and had poor results, but this isnt cheap leather. ( I should note I took a cobbling class for fashion design.) I am not an expert, but expert would’ve laughed and said lost cause. I’m like no they’re Louis Vuitton vintage. I’ll try it.<br><br>And if she weren't giving me another one that I am kind of torn between for fixing a whole stack of her actual designer stuff. I'd rock this one. my results are far from perfect, but from where it was, Yeah.
