Vintage Primitive Wooden Folk Art Biblical Carving of Enos or Saint Peregrine<br><br>Unknown origin &amp; date, but it is old, with aged beige felt on the bottom. I have not cleaned this carving, as not to remove any aged patina or cause any damage.&nbsp; 13" H x 4.3" W x 3.8" D.&nbsp; Solid wood with a bit of polish to it.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>One-of-a-kind. Well-carved with beautiful one-of-a-kind knots &amp; integration of the figure into the grain of the wood. I believe this is depicting either one of 2 historically biblical figures:<br>1. It could be Enos/Enosh, a member of the original line of people from Hebrew Biblical Stories in Genesis in the Old Testament, BC.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>2. It could be Saint Peregrine, since his left knee/leg is highlighted.&nbsp;&nbsp;Peregrine Laziosi is an Italian saint of the Servite Order. He is the patron saint for persons suffering from cancer, AIDS, and other life-threatening illnesses in 1345 AD.
