Vtg 1983 Handmade Pig Black White Wood Pull Toy Ring Cord Primitive On Wheels Hand Painted Work Of Art Signed By Artist<br><br>This adorable pull toy/piece of art is from our all things vintage collection.<br><br>Handmade and hand painted.<br><br>Signed by the artist on the base: Pat Consoon 1983 - It is hard to discern the spelling of the last name.<br><br>This little pig has felt ears, black eyes, black nose and a metal curled tail.<br><br>We looked up black and white pigs and decided this guy is an Aksai Black Pied Pig.<br><br>The pig breed from Kazakhstan and was developed in 1952. <br><br>Aksai Black Pied is known for its distinctive black and white pattern. Uneven black and white patches spread all over the body give this black and white pig breed a unique look. <br><br>History:<br>Hailing from Kasalenki state, the breed was first developed in 1952 on experimental and training farms as a meat production pig. The breed was improved after crossing with Landrace boars, North Caucasians, and Large White pigs.<br><br>Thanks for looking.
