The Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta BX 533/16 is a folding, medium format film camera with an 80mm f2.8 Tessar lens. This camera produces eleven 6cm x 6cm images on 120 film. The Super Ikonta is a rangefinder and it includes an uncoupled selenium light meter. This camera was made in Germany during WWII, between 1941-43. It is in good condition, with smooth focusing, an accurate rangefinder and clean aperture blades. Aperture settings range from f22 to f2.8. Shutter speeds range from B to 1/400th, with all shutter speeds sounding accurate, including even the 1 second setting. The self timer is working. Bellows are original, and appear to be in good shape, with no apparent holes or tears. The light meter shows sensitivity, but I cannot attest to it's accuracy. The Tessar lens should provide excellent sharpness, with a very pleasant bokeh. The original leather case shows wear, but is intact. An amazingly compact medium format camera that will fit in your coat pocket!
